Eighty out of 84 divisions of the Pension Fund of Russia are now accepting pension claims online. People in 80 constituent territories of Russia can request the assignment of their pensions by use of the Internet, without visiting the PFR in person.
It is possible to file claims for insurance pensions, state pensions and funded pensions via the personal account of the insured individual on the PFR website. This pension claim method makes a personal visit of the citizen to the Pension Fund’s client service unnecessary.
More than 14,000 citizens have become pensioners and 7,500 pensioners have chosen or altered pension delivery ways without visiting the PFR in 2015 so far.
The same as it happens in a personal visit to a Pension Fund office, a pension claim can be filed online a month before the date starting from which a citizen qualifies for pension.
