About 70,000 persons have downloaded the Russian Pension Fund’s application for mobile devices providing convenient access to key online services in the personal account section of the PFR website. The application can be used to receive information about the status of one’s individual account in the Pension Fund, the assigned pension and social benefits, and insurance contributions paid by the employer, as well as to make an appointment and to order the issue of necessary documents.
The free PFR application is available for the iOS and Android platforms. Authorization is required by means of the verified account on the Public Services Portal and a four-digit pin code to be used to access the application in the future. One may verify the Public Services Portal’s account at offices of Russian Post, Rostelecom and Pension Fund client services.
A number of services can be accessed without authorization via the personal account section. For instance, the application can use the geo-positioning service to find the nearest Pension Fund client service or multifunctional center and to make an appointment. Besides, the application gives an opportunity to order the issue of certificates and documents and to submit a request to PFR.
