According to the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, online services provided by the Russian Pension Fund were listed amongst most popular services of the public services portal in 2017. The ministry gave the information in its report on last year’s operation of the public services portal.
“Public services portal users mostly requested information about tax and court-ordered arrears and the status of their personal accounts in the Russian Pension Fund,” the report said.
The Pension Fund’s online services available on the public services portal have been popular with users for several years. Traditionally, the most popular service is the provision of information about one’s personal account in the mandatory pension insurance system. The service provides information about the length of employment record, the number of pension points, the amount of pension insurance contributions paid by the employer, the size of pension savings, etc. The service was requested 9.6 million times last year.
Another popular PFR service available on the portal is information about the package of social services, the online application for the assignment or adjustment of pensions, as well as services related to maternity capital: requests for issuing the maternity capital certificate and using maternity capital funds. Over 1.6 million users requested those services online in 2017.
The Pension Fund was one of the first agencies to make its online services available on the public services portal.
