More than one and a half million users have installed mobile application of the Pension Fund of Russia, which makes it possible to employ electronic services of the Pension Fund via smartphone. This mobile app is popular both among the pensioners and those persons who are in the process of accumulating of the pension awards.
Using this mobile app the Russian citizens being of the working age may obtain information about the individual pension coefficients on personal retirement account and length of service , monitor the employer’s insurance contributions and submit applications (for example, if new data on the record of work should be introduced ).
Using this mobile app the retired persons have an opportunity to track the amount of payments, find where the nearest client’s office of the Pension Fund is located, make an appointment or request for issue of statements and other documents.
The application enables not only to obtain information on pensions and social benefits, but also, for instance, keep track of spending of the maternity capital. The families can monitor the balance of funds provided by the Maternity Capital Certificate.
It is planned to subsequently develop the mobile app functions and use it as a point of access to the data of the electronic employment record book.
Apps on iOS and Android for mobile devices offered by the Pension Fund are easy to use. You need to log in to the portal of state services creating the account and four-factor authentication code required for further access to the app. For some services it is also possible to access without authorization.
