Russian Pension Fund Board Chairman Anton Drozdov has taken part in the opening of an exhibition of innovative social projects of Russian constituent territories held on the sidelines of the Second Forum of Regional Social Innovations in Krasnogorsk.
Other participants in the opening ceremony included Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, Russian Labor and Social Protection Minister Maxim Topilin, Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko, and Federation Council Deputy Chairperson Galina Karelova.
The project office titled ‘Modern Information Technologies: Ready-to-Use Solutions’, prepared and unveiled by the Russian Pension Fund, was the main venue of the opening ceremony. The project office introduces visitors to innovative IT projects of the federal and regional social sectors. The project office incorporated 52 projects of 30 Russian constituent territories. Detailed information is available on 30 projects featuring best available practices of Russian regions.
The Forum of Regional Social Innovations, which presents the best practices of social work, is being held for the second time. It is tasked with assisting in the development of social infrastructure in Russia and improving the quality of life for various population strata.
A substantial part of the 2017 Forum’s program is devoted to new opportunities of regional development achieved through social innovations.
