More than 520,000 people have downloaded the mobile application of the Russian Pension Fund that gives access to key online services available on the PFR website. The application connects users to information about their personal account in the Pension Fund, assigned pensions and social benefits, and insurance contributions paid by employers; it can also be used to make an appointment or file a request for issuing necessary documents.
The free PFR mobile application is available on iOS and Android platforms. In order to access the application, a user needs to be authorized via one's verified account on the Internet portal of public services and create a four-digit pin code, which will later be used for accessing the application. A fingerprint authorization is also possible. The account on the Internet portal of public services can be verified at PFR client services and offices of Russian Post and Rostelecom.
Some services can be accessed via the application without the account authorization. For instance, the nearest PFR client service or multifunctional center can be found by means of the geolocation service, and an appointment can be made. Besides, the application can be used to order documents and certificates and to send an appeal to the PFR.
