Some 1.4 million persons have chosen a code word to receive personal payment consultations from the call center and regional offices of the Russian Pension Fund since the beginning of this year. The code word allows avoiding a visit to the PFR while verifying personal information about the amount of the assigned pension and social benefits, account information, or maternity capital balance.
The code word can be chosen in the account on the Pension Fund website. It is sufficient to indicate any code word or a question-answer to be used for identification purposes in the profile settings. The code can also be set in any PFR territorial division.
Please note that the call center provides social support information. A virtual assistant operates the first line. It helps receive answers to frequently asked questions, for instance, those about the spending of maternity capital funds, applying for SNILS or changing the pension delivery method. Whenever more detailed information is required, the virtual assistant transfers the call to the second line, where the conversation is continued by a call center specialist. The third line is dedicated to more personal consultations. There, an operator identifies the caller by the code word, after which the sought information is provided.
