Since the beginning of the year, the Pension Fund has transferred more than 65 billion rubles in payments to families with children under support measures that were previously provided by social protection authorities. About 1.3 million parents received various types of social security.
The support measures transferred for administration to the PFR are assigned for various reasons. For example, pregnant women, non-working mothers with children under the age of 1.5 years, children of conscripts and others. Monthly and one-time benefits are provided for parents, which include payments for pregnancy and childbirth, for birth or adoption, as well as for child care.
For example, the Pension Fund provided non-working parents and guardians of children under 1.5 years old with a monthly care allowance in the amount of more than 59 billion rubles. Another 527 million rubles were transferred to pregnant wives and children of conscripts in the form of lump-sum and monthly allowances. Non-working mothers received a one-time payment at the birth or adoption of a child for a total amount of 5.5 billion rubles.
Recall that when the right to these measures appears, you can apply for payments to any client service of the PFR or the MFC. In addition, the Pension Fund and the Ministry of Digital Development launched new electronic services on the public services portal. They allow non-working women to apply online for a monthly maternity allowance, and for parents and guardians to receive a lump sum payment upon the birth of a child. In most cases, an electronic application is sufficient to apply for a support measure.
